Born from the mind of Spencer Brown, Daisy Bucket was created in 2006 for The Girlie Show, a monthly cabaret show featuring live-singing female impersonators at Bar Natasha in Kansas City, Missouri.
After Bar Natasha closed its doors in 2008, Daisy went on to produce her own weekly variety show at Sidekicks Saloon called Daisy's Twilight Madness (the only drag show in town that started as the sun went down!). Considered a drag renaissance period in Kansas City, the show would end up bringing out some of Kansas City's most prominent drag artists featured in Kansas City today.
Daisy currently emcees the Friday night shows, co-emcees Wednesday evenings show called The Chit Chat, and occasionally appears in The Dirty Dorothy Show on Saturday nights all at Missies B's, Kansas City's premiere LGBT nightclub.
Most recently, Daisy brought the house down emceeing the Holiday Hullaballoo concert at the GALA Festival in Denver, showcasing gay men's choruses nationwide, and also starred as Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horitwitz in Late Night Theatre's production of Cluelessness, which was recognized as one of the Best Local Plays in Kansas City this year by The Pitch. Her tireless fundraising efforts for Kansas City HIV/AIDS organizations over the years has raised well over $100,000.
